Our eyes are one of the very few major organs that are located outside of the body and they require protection from various sources that can cause damage to our precious eyesight. A lot of eye injuries occur on the job. Some of these relate to occupational hazards associated with construction work, welding and other industries like coal whereby the eyes are exposed to harmful chemicals.
