The potential for the Zika virus to be spread through sex is worrying, especially as it has been found to be in the semen several weeks after contracting the disease. The Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) have confirmed that a person was infected through sex with a man who had recently travelled to Venezuela. The disease is now spreading throughout many South American countries with no way of stopping it.
