An Oxford study has shown that vegetarians have lower risk of getting affected by cataracts than their mean consuming counterparts. According to the study at the University of Oxford in England, there has been a suggestion that eating less amount of meat can safeguard people from getting cataracts at an older age. The scientists have presented the fact that people who do not eat Meat, Poultry and Dairy have around 30% to 40% lesser chance of developing cataracts than people who consume meat at a greater quantity.
